Thursday was an important day for us. A patent lawyer from the law firm Merchant and Gould visited us to see ourĀ idea and if it was unique enough to patent. The three fundamentals of patenting something is:
1. Is it useful?
2. Is it new?
3. Is it non-obvious?
OurĀ idea needed to fit all of these requirements to be patentable. We also got a part of our idea in the mail. We saw it in action and everyone thought it was cool. Here are some pictures from the meet:
