Today, we went to Magenic to make pancakes for the employees. From 8-10 a.m., we worked hard making pancakes for about 40 people. Mixing the batter and actually making them on the griddle was super fun, especially because we messed around occasionally. Making pancakes was a bit of a struggle at first, but we all became pancake-making pros at the end. Setting up a fundraising event like this is a lot more work than it looks — you have to get everything set up in a limited amount of time, but we ended up learning a lot about what sort of work goes into an event like this. Setting up in an orderly manner was hard too, but eventually, we got the hang of it. To celebrate, we made and enjoyed our own pancakes at the end. Emily even came up with the genius idea of Pancake Kabobs, a long skewer filled with pancakes, bananas and strawberries.
Oh wow- thanks for the creds, girl.
Grandpa flipped over or success w/pancakes!
