Nearing the competition date, the Ponytail Posse quickly finished up any missions that were needed to be done. After that, we simulated the competition day: we organized the order of our missions and we ran through them numerous times. Since certain pairs were assigned certain missions, the transitions were hard between each mission. Also, it was hard to keep track of everyone’s attachments for their missions. At first, our mission run was a little choppy, but after a lot of practice, we got a little better with transitions. After all this repetitive work, we had a potluck dinner. Everyone brought something: Rose brought dumplings, Nancy brought biryani, Amy brought “corny stuff”, Emily brought big ziti pasta, I brought chicken butter masala, and Meghan brought Twinkies for dessert.
