We demoed at the Google Women Techmakers Conference. Showing the robot and the app, we impressed the attendees who were interested in women in tech. The audience was eager to be slayed because we are an all girls team. One of the volunteers at High Tech Kids came to ask us a series of questions, just like a question-and-answer panel. We explained to the audience what we learned from Lego League and what we can take away from it. The most asked question from the audience was “How can we make this more known among girls?” We just said that we should spread the word among the elementary students, and people would find it interesting. One way we’re exemplifying this is through the intro to Lego League class we are teaching for third graders.
